B / Blank sailing

Ocean carriers sometimes cancel sailings or skip a vessel’s scheduled visit to a particular port. When this happens, it is known as a blank sailing. If a blank sailing impacts your shipment, the carrier should dispatch your cargo on the next available sailing to your port of destination.
